So why did I break down in my second blog. Well, it is seriously the hardest thing I have ever done in my life...run my own company. Ean and I love this company more than anything and the daily ins and outs are so hard and brain straining that a lot of times you just want to throw in the towel and give up. It is especially hard for us because we live in Washington State and the cost of living here is just outrageous. Even though we have expertise in our area doesn't mean that we can make it big in this state, so that alone is against us.
That and a small marketing budget. It is hard to promote a company like our box lunch or catering unless by word of mouth. So although we are in our third year, we are still only growing my word of mouth...90% of our business is word of mouth.
God provides daily for us and I am so grateful, but I will have to keep you posted...if we make it!! :-)
The truth is: I am encouraged. I think I will start a daily, "I am feeling" Today, encouraged! Keep posted for more.
